This sand is great for many desert species that do well on dry sand. We currently use this sand for Bearded Dragons, Ground Geckos, Puff Adders, Mole snake etc. Great for dwarf Bitis species like Horned Adders.
It is washed to that it is dust and impurity free. The grain size is like brown sugar.
It is important not to just use any sand, as some have high mineral content that can dry the skin of your animals and cause bad sheds as well as loss of toes etc. Some soil pH is harmful with long exposure.
